THE FOREST MOON FESTIVAL UNIVERSE

The Forest Moon Festival is a celebration of the Redwood Region's iconic role as the filming location for the forest moon of Endor in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi. Fans and visitors can enjoy themed events, film site tours, costumers, vendors, and more in this immersive experience that honors both the movies and the region’s natural beauty. Why here? Just over 40 years ago the world was introduced to the Forest Moon of Endor, as the final battleground in the original Star Wars Trilogy, Our Coastal Redwoods set the scene as the location for those memorable battles between the Rebel Forces and the Imperial Empire. Since then, domestic and international tourists and fans have traveled to the North Coast of California to see the majestic film site of the Ewoks.
